Equipment

The equipment was founded by ANID under the grant N° EQM180150 (Fondequip VIIFQP).

Pulsed Nd:YAG 100 mJ x2 dual head laser system

Recently acquired* state-of-the-art 532 nm, 100 Hz laser with laser arm is used in image velocimetry techniques such as PIV, 3CPIV, LIF, PLIF and stereoscopic PIV.

2.5 W Diode‐Pumped TTL Pulsable CW laser

Recently acquired* 532 nm, 30 kHz laser emits continuous or pulse laser light suitable for flows up to 1 m/s.

Complementary equipment

Along with the lasers, image capturing is performed with up to 4 scientific cameras of 12 MP each, lenses, laser filters, pulsometer, synchronisers and all the necessary items*.

12 MP scientific cameras mounted on a rail.

Synchroniser.

Laser filters.

TSI capturing and processing software.

As part of our scientific commitment, we encourage national and international collaboration, allowing the use of our facilities to researchers upon reasonable justification and approval.
